Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby continues to make NHL history.
With the primary assist on a Bryan Rust first-period goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, Crosby tied Gordie Howe for fifth place in all-time NHL assists with one franchise.
Crosby joins Ray Bourque, Wayne Gretzky, Steve Yzerman, and Mario Lemieux in the top-five all-time. He needs just 10 more assists to tie Lemieux and just 88 to tie Bourque for the NHL record.
