The Chicago Sky certainly have a number of interesting choices for the No. 10 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
Previously, Bleacher Report noted that the Sky could take Reese’s former LSU teammate, Hailey Van Lith, with the selection. Amid HVL’s success with the TCU Horned Frogs, however, ESPN predicted that she could go higher in the draft before Chicago even gets a chance to make its pick.
With that said, the network named another player that the Sky could take in the draft: Kentucky Wildcats point guard Georgia Amoore.

“Amoore isn’t big size-wise, but her heart and basketball IQ are huge,” ESPN explained.

While Amoore and Kentucky suffered a painful end to their season after the playmaker missed a potential game-winner in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, ESPN further emphasized that she had an otherwise great campaign.
“But look at the entirety of her season: She averaged 19.6 points and 6.9 assists while playing an SEC-high 36.7 minutes per game. Veteran point guard Courtney Vandersloot, 36, is back in Chicago and the Sky might see her as a great mentor for Amoore.”
The Sky currently have All-Star forward and double-double machine Angel Reese and center Kamilla Cardoso as their core. By adding Rebecca Allen and Ariel Atkins via trade, as well as Courtney Vandersloot in free agency, the team certainly hopes that it can contend for the playoffs or more next season.

Sure enough, though, it won’t be wrong for the Sky to also prepare for the future. As ESPN noted, should they add Georgia Amoore, she could play under the guidance of Vandersloot and hopefully develop into an elite guard in the league.
