Saturday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide returned to action inside Coleman Coliseum for a Top 25 showdown with the Kentucky Wildcats.
Riding a two-game losing streak into the game, Alabama got back on their winning ways however, picking up a 96-83 victory over the Wildcats to improve to 22-5 overall on the season, as well as 11-3 in SEC play.
In the game, Alabama was led by guard Mark Sears with a game-high 30 points, while Clifford Omoruyi finished with a double-double at 11 points and 15 rebounds. Alabama also showed some improvement defensively after a rough outing at Missouri during the mid-week, as well as shot an impressive 21-of-25 at the free throw line.
Here is a look at what some on social media are saying after the Crimson Tide’s impressive victory over Kentucky.
This is just the fourth time Alabama has swept Kentucky home and away in the same season. Tide has done it twice under Nate Oats and once each under Wimp Sanderson and C.M. Newton.
