Sophie Cunningham and the Indiana Fever had a disappointing 2025 WNBA season, which ended with a semifinal loss to the Las Vegas Aces in the playoffs. The Fever could have been one of the favorites to win the championship had they not dealt with numerous injuries throughout the year, which forced Cunningham and Caitlin Clark to miss the entire postseason.
Cunningham spent her first six seasons with the Phoenix Mercury before the Fever acquired her last offseason via trade. And the former Missouri guard found success during her first season in Indiana, averaging 8.6 points on 46.9% shooting, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. But in August, Cunningham suffered a torn MCL, which ended her seventh WNBA season early.

Following the 2025 season, Cunningham saw her one-year, $100,000 deal with the Fever come to an end, making her an unrestricted free agent. And with the WNBA reaching a new collective bargaining agreement, Cunningham could be up for a massive pay raise when free agency begins next month.
But on Thursday, ahead of her eighth WNBA season, Cunningham had some exciting news to share, announcing a new partnership between her podcast, “Show Me Something,” and Marriott Bonvoy. The Fever star will host a four-episode limited series sponsored by the hotel brand called “Live From The Bracket,” set to release on March 24. Cunningham also appeared in New York City to reveal the news, while discussing the NCAA Tournament with fans.

“It is almost that time for March Madness,” Cunningham said. “We are so excited to be teaming up with Marriott Bonvoy for “Live From The Bracket.” It is a four-episode limited series edition of our podcast ‘Show Me Something…’ So we are here in New York City to get your college basketball takes. Let’s get into it.”
“Please welcome @marriottbonvoy to the pod for a four‑episode special where we talk all things sports and travel,” “Show Me Something wrote on Instagram. “Famous guests. March Madness fandom. It all starts March 24th in Indianapolis so stay tuned! @sophie_cham @westling.conrad”
