COLUMBIA — South Carolina women’s basketball is hosting UConn for a top 10 matchup that is bringing national attention to Columbia.
ESPN’s preshow “College GameDay” will be in town for Sunday’s game (1 p.m., ABC), the third time the show has been live from Colonial Life Arena.
This will be the 15th game between the No. 4 Gamecocks (22-2, 10-1 SEC) and No. 7 Huskies (22-3, 13-0 Big East), who first met on Dec. 17, 2007. South Carolina is 2-3 at home against UConn, and despite trailing in the all-time series, 5-9, has won the last four.
In 2022, the Gamecocks beat the Huskies to win their second national championship. Between coaches Dawn Staley and Geno Auriemma, the programs have 14 national titles. Auriemma is the winningest NCAA basketball coach.

How to watch ESPN ‘College GameDay’ for South Carolina vs UConn
The two-hour show will begin at 11 a.m. ET on ESPN then switch to ABC at noon leading directly into the 1 p.m. tipoff on that network.
Streaming options include Fubo, ESPN+ and Disney+.

The women’s basketball edition of the pre-game talk show is hosted by Elle Duncan, Andraya Carter and Chiney Ogwumike.
Ryan Ruocco and Rebecca Lobo will call the game on ABC with Holly Rowe on the sidelines.

The “GameDay” crew was set to feature the SEC matchup between South Carolina and LSU on Jan. 23 but after a weather delay postponed the game until Jan. 24, ESPN canceled the show.
What time do doors open for South Carolina vs UConn?
Colonial Life Arena doors will open at 10:30 a.m. to allow fans time to enter the arena in time for “GameDay” which begins at 11 a.m.
For fans who have purchased the Fast Break Pass add on, doors will open at 10 a.m.
Parking, shuttle for South Carolina vs UConn game
In addition to the usual parking lot for games in Colonial Life Arena, South Carolina is offering a free parking shuttle from the Key Road parking lot near Williams-Brice Stadium.
The shuttle will begin running at 10 a.m. and continue until one hour after the game ends with the arena dropoff/pickup location at the corner of Lincoln and Devine Street.

There are tickets available for Sunday’s game on StubHub. As of Wednesday afternoon, the lowest-priced ticket is $100 for a general admission ticket. The best view available ranges from $1,000 to $2,100. There are roughly 101 ticket listings remaining on StubHub.
