COLUMBIA — South Carolina women’s basketball returns to action after a week off with a home game against South Florida.
The No. 3 Gamecocks (9-1) haven’t played since they snapped TCU’s undefeated streak on Dec. 8 with an 85-52 win in Fort Worth, Texas. It marked the third win over a ranked opponent this season, and after four ranked opponents in a 15-day span.
The Bulls (5-5) lost 87-46 to TCU on Nov. 30, and last played on Dec. 5, defeating Merrimack 62-43. South Carolina is 1-0 against USF. The only time these two teams have faced each other was in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. The Gamecocks won 76-45.
