On Thursday, Clark was ruled out hours before the game after sustaining a groin injury.
Indiana headed into the game looking to spark a win streak. Standing at 7-7 on the season, they’d be eyeing a win to stay inside the playoff race.
With the Fever playing without Clark, they had their hands full competing against one of the best guards in the WNBA, Kelsey Plum.
During the matchup against the Sparks, Plum proved to be a problem for Indiana.
Plum cut through the lane, putting a hesitation move on Sophie Cunningham and finishing against the Fever’s top paint defender, Aliyah Boston.
The Sparks guard helped cut the team’s deficit with the finish over Boston.
