Michigan State football added an intriguing preferred walk-on addition to its 2025 class on Wednesday.
Nick Hardy of Birmingham, Mich. officially signed with the Spartans on Wednesday as part of National Signing Day. Hardy is a wide receiver prospect that is a preferred walk-on.
Hardy committed to Michigan State in December, and choose to be a preferred walk-on over other opportunities from Army, Davenport, Wayne State and Mercyhurst College, according to Corey Robinson of 247Sports.
Hardy recorded 18 catches for 416 yards and four touchdowns this past season, and was named to the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association Division 2 All-Region First Team.
