Michigan State football has extended an offer to a three-star safety from Chicago.
Tavares Harrington of Chicago announced on Tuesday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans, according to his social media X account. He was visiting Michigan State on Tuesday and received an offer while on his visit.

Harrington is listed as a three-star prospect in the 2027 class, according to Rivals. He holds a rating of 5.7 on Rivals.
Michigan State is one of nearly 10 schools to extend Harrington an offer, according to 247Sports. The other schools to offer Harrington includes Iowa State, Kansas State, Louisville, Missouri, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Wisconsin and Miami (OH).
