Michigan State basketball is reportedly in the mix for a transfer guard from Santa Clara.

Tyeree Bryan has reportedly cut the list of schools he’s considering to eight, and Michigan State is in the mix. Bryan — who played two years at Santa Clara before hitting the transfer portal — will reportedly focus his attention on the Spartans, Michigan, West Virginia, DePaul, Texas Tech, Virginia, Miami (FL) and Clemson.

Bryan is listed at 6-foot-5 and proved he could put the ball in the bucket while at Santa Clara. This past season he averaged 10.4 points per game and shot 42.9 percent from three-point range. He had his best game of the season against arguably the toughest opponent he faced, scoring a career-high 35 points in a road upset win over Gonzaga in January.

There is no time table on when Bryan plans to announce his commitment so stay tuned with Spartans Wire for the latest updates on this potential future Michigan State guard.
