3 Wickets falling in Rajasthan Royals‘ (RR) first over, bowled by Praful Hinge. It is the first time three wickets have fallen in the first over of an IPL innings. In all men’s T20s, there have been 19 previous instances of three or more wickets in the first over.

Hinge took a fourth wicket in the third over of the innings, making him the first to take a four-wicket haul within the first three overs of an IPL innings. The previous earliest was Ishant Sharma, who had four in 3.1 overs of Kochi Tuskers Kerala’s (KTK) innings in 2011.

1 Hinge becomes the first bowler to take three wickets in their maiden IPL over. Dillon du Preez and Amit Singh took two wickets each in their first over on IPL debut, both in 2009, while Sachin Baby also took two in his first over in the IPL.

1 Before Monday, Ashwani Kumar was the only Indian to grab a four-wicket haul on debut. Ashwani did it for Mumbai Indians (MI) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2025. Sakib Hussain finished with 4 for 24, the same as Ashwani, while Hinge had 4 for 34. Overall, six bowlers have previously taken four or more wickets on their IPL debut.

4 Sakib and Hinge became only the fourth pair to take four-wicket hauls in an IPL innings. They are also only the second Indian pair to take four wickets apiece in the same IPL innings, after Mohammed Shami and Mohit Sharma for GT against MI in 2023.

1 RR’s top four batters scored just one run, the fewest by a team’s top four in an IPL innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored that one run, while Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel and Lhuan-dre Pretorius bagged ducks.

18 Balls needed by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to take the first five RR wickets. These are the fewest balls for any team to lose their first five wickets in an IPL innings. RR lost their first four wickets in 10 balls, also an IPL record.

The previous earliest was 11 balls for the first four wickets and 19 balls for the first five, both during KTK’s innings against Deccan Chargers in 2011.

10 SRH pacers took all ten wickets that fell in RR’s innings. It is only the seventh time all ten wickets have fallen to pacers in an IPL innings. It is also the first since 2019 when Delhi Capitals (DC) did it against SRH, also in Hyderabad.

199 T20 wickets between the players in the SRH team they fielded on Monday, the fewest for any team going into an IPL match since the start of 2015. As many as 55 of them were for Abhishek Sharma, while another 22 belonged to Travis Head.

118 Partnership runs for the sixth wicket between Donovan Ferreira and Ravindra Jadeja. It is the second-highest stand for the sixth-wicket (or lower) in the IPL, behind the unbeaten 122 between Kieron Pollard and Ambati Rayudu against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in 2012.

RR added a total of 150 runs after losing five wickets for nine runs, the second-most in an IPL innings for the sixth and lower wickets.
