The Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue has the WNBA’s back. And it took to social media to celebrate the basketball league’s historic new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) deal with a sizzling pic from the current issue of the magazine (the new one comes out in May) — one that stars five WNBA icons.

New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart reigns over the top of the group pic, sizzling in a skimpy black one-piece. Seattle Storm forward Nneka Ogwumike scorches in a black bikini — and legend Sue Bird, a four-time WNBA champion, flaunts her 8-pack in a string bikini.
“Holy holy sue bird 😍😍😍😍,” raved one fan.
Also pictured lounging on an enormous boat for the epic pic: Te’a Cooper and Didi Richards (who both now play overseas).
“Here’s to a new era for the WNBA🤝💸🍾,” SI Swim captioned the Instagram share.
The CBA deal — reached in part because of the work done by WNBPA president Ogwumike — reportedly raised the salary cap from $1.5 million to $7 million, among other major wins.
