High-major programs dominant the Sweet 16 of the men’s NCAA Tournament bracket, with the SEC and Big Ten claiming occupying 11 of the 16 spots.
Only one double-digit seed got past the first weekend of March Madness, and it’s not the typical team. Coach John Calipari and 10-seed Arkansas upset 7-seed Kansas and 2-seed St. John’s to reach the second weekend, as the Hall of Fame coach beat two other Hall of Famers to set up a matchup against 3-seed Texas Tech.
