NASCAR is heading back to Nashville Superspeedway for the fifth consecutive year for one of the sport’s better party weekends.

The Cracker Barrel 400 NASCAR Cup Series race headlines a full weekend with the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series joining the action, as well.

Tailgating, it’s a tradition. Fans will gather hours before the race starts and grill out, enjoy some beverages and get themselves excited and ready for the race.

Rules for NASCAR Nashville race tailgating

Yes, there are rules for tailgating at Nashville Superspeedway. See the rules below as the track has laid out.

NOTE: Extra wide spaces are available and may be reserved on the Nashville Superspeedway FAQ website under the “Tailgate Areas” section.

  • IF IT FITS, IT’S ALLOWED: Nashville Superspeedway asks that you only bring to your tailgate what can fit in your vehicle. This includes items like portable grills, shade tents and other standard tailgating items (no items in the driving lanes).
  • NO VEHICLE EXTENSIONS: To ensure that each fan enjoys their tailgate and space is equally distributed to our patrons, Nashville Superspeedway asks that no extensions (i.e. trailers) be added to vehicles to carry extra items.
  • SAFETY FIRST: No ground fires in your space. All flags must be 100 feet away from telephone and powerlines. No metal flag poles. PLEASE BE SAFE.
  • BE NEIGHBORLY: Tailgating is a community activity, so be courteous to your neighbor. It makes the experience that much more enjoyable for everyone.
  • CLEAR YOUR AREA: All tailgating accessories (tents, grills, coolers, etc.) must be put up and secured before heading over to the track to enjoy the event.

When is 2025 NASCAR Nashville race?

The 2025 Cracker Barrel 400 is set for 6 p.m. CT on June 1 at Nashville Superspeedway.

There are several ticket options for the NASCAR Nashville race, including a weekend package and individual tickets for the weekend.

Weekend package: Don’t miss a moment of the action with Friday, Saturday and Sunday tickets to see the NASCAR Cup Series race, the Tennessee Lottery 250 Xfinity Series race and the Rackley Roofing 200 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race plus practice and qualifying sessions for all three series.

Sunday tickets: NASCAR’s top stars will compete in the Cracker Barrel 400 NASCAR Cup Series race for a chance to raise the custom-made Gibson guitar trophy in victory lane.

Saturday tickets: Wilson County CVB Qualifying Saturday kicks off with practice and qualifying sessions for both the NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series followed by NASCAR’s rising stars competing in the Tennessee Lottery 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race.

Friday tickets: The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series owns Friday starting with practice and qualifying followed by the Rackley Roofing 200 race.
