A 2026 Tennessee football commitment has officially ended his recruitment. Three-star linebacker Braylon Outlaw made his decision to stay with the Vols despite receiving interest from other schools on Thursday.

“Thanks to every school, coach and recruiter that has played a part in this journey,” Outlaw announced. “With that being said, I am shutting down all further recruitment.”

The 6-foot, 212-pound prospect is from Pike Road High School in Pike Road, Alabama. 247Sports ranks Outlaw as the No. 50 linebacker in the class and No. 27 player in Alabama.

Outlaw was first offered a scholarship by Tennessee following an unofficial visit on June 19, 2024. He unofficially visited for the Alabama game weeks before his commitment on Nov. 8, 2024. The 2026 prospect will officially visit Tennessee on June 20.

In addition to Outlaw, Tennessee has seven more commitments in its 2026 football recruiting class: quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyran Evans, defensive lineman C.J. Edwards and defensive lineman Zach Groves.
