Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to four-star cornerback Blake Jenkins.
“Grateful to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Jenkins announced. “Thank you coach Michael Hunter for the opportunity!”

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect is from Tompkins High School in Katy, Texas. 247Sports ranks Jenkins as the No. 28 cornerback in the class and the No. 35 player in Texas.
Southern Miss was the first school to offer Jenkins a scholarship on May 13, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include UTEP, Washington State, Kansas State, Sam Houston State, UTSA, Tulane, Houston, Texas Southern, Western Kentucky, Kentucky, Jackson State, Troy, Vanderbilt, Texas, Florida State, Iowa, Florida, Missouri, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Mississippi State and Northwestern.
Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
