The NCAA transfer portal closed Friday after opening Jan. 2. Players could only enter the transfer portal during this period, but once entered they can sign with a school at any point.
Tennessee received its latest commitment on Saturday after the NCAA transfer portal closed. West Virginia redshirt junior offensive lineman Donovan Haslam transferred to the Vols.

“Committed,” Haslam announced. “100% locked in. Proud to announce my commitment to the University of Tennessee. Let’s work.”
The 6-foot-3, 346-pound offensive lineman appeared in 11 games for the Mountaineers in 2025. He transferred to West Virginia after playing three seasons at Austin Peay.
Haslam played for the Governors from 2022-24. In 2024, he had nine starts at left tackle. Haslam was on the Athletics Director’s Honor Roll from 2023-24.
Tennessee defeated Austin Peay, 30-13, on Sept. 9, 2023 at Neyland Stadium.
He is from Perry High School in Perry, Georgia. Haslam helped the Panthers advance to the class 4A state quarterfinals in 2021.
