Redshirt senior guard Kaiya Wynn announced Tuesday she is leaving Tennessee’s basketball program.
The 6-foot guard appeared in 103 games for the Lady Vols from 2021-26. She totaled 267 points, 187 rebounds, 81 assists and 42 steals. Wynn appeared in nine games for Tennessee during the 2025-26 season.

“As someone who has never started a career game, l was hoping to start in my last appearance in Thompson-Boling,” Wynn announced on social media. “That obviously did not happen, and to be asked to check into the game with 15 seconds left while losing was not how I wanted to spend my final moments in my arena after five years.
“Although that was not the sole reason, it was the breaking point for me. I have the utmost love and respect for my teammates and this program and wish everyone nothing but the best.”
The SEC Tournament will begin Wednesday at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
