Texas A&M (11-11, 4-9 SEC) defeated No. 21 Tennessee (26-9, 8-5 SEC), 82-74, Thursday at Food City Center.
The Aggies led,, 47-42, at halftime after opening a, 31-16, advantage at the end of the first quarter in the Lady Vols’ third consecutive loss.

Janiah Barker scored a career-high 29 points for the Lady Vols. She also posted a double-double as she recorded 10 rebounds. She also totaled two steals, two blocks and one rebound. Barker converted 9-of-13 field goal attempts, 5-of-5 three-point attempts and 6-of-6 free throw attempts. She was one of three Tennessee players to score 10-plus points against the Aggies.
Zee Spearman had 14 points, five rebounds and one block for the Lady Vols, while Talaysia Cooper finished with 11 points, four assists and one rebound for the Lady Vols, who were outscored, 22-9, in the third quarter. Tennessee outrebounded the Aggies, 33-31, in the contest and committed 16 turnovers.
Fatimata Jenneh led Texas A&M with 17 points. She also posted a double-double as she finished the game wit 12 rebounds.
