The Texas A&M track & field men’s team is holding on to a top 10 ranking during the indoor season, coming in at No. 8 in this week’s USTFCCCA rankings thanks in part to strong performances by a pair of Aggies.
On Tuesday, the SEC recognized two Aggies for their standout performances. Graduate student Ja’Qualon Scott was named the SEC Men’s Runner of the Week after winning the 60m hurdles with the fastest time in the SEC. Freshman Peter Narumbe earned SEC Men’s Freshman of the Week honors following a gold‑medal effort in the 800m and logging the second fastest mark by a freshman.
