As long as Texas A&M offensive coordinator Collin Klein is with the program, recruiting elite prospects along the offensive line and running back remains a priority offseason strategy, especially heading into coach Mike Elko’s second season at the helm.
This summer, Elko and his staff have assembled a talented list of upcoming official visits in the 2026 cycle, including five-star offensive lineman Lamar Brown, five-star wide receiver Tristan Keys, and rising four-star defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright.
This week, the visitor list grew as 2026 four-star running back Carsyn Baker out of Fairburn, Georgia, will take an official visit to College Station on June 20, just months after putting together his most productive season on the ground. Among the Aggies’ ten commitments, running back is still a position of need.
In the 2025 class, Texas A&M signed two backs, including four-star Deondrae “Tiger” Riden. However, due to the popularity of the transfer portal, loading up at every position through recruiting is vital to staying ahead and preparing for future departures.
A combination of speed and subtle power, Baker has produced 2,204 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns during his three-year career, including 1,282 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2024.
