After opening SEC play with a 91-78 loss to No. 15 Tennessee, the SEC gauntlet continues Sunday with Texas A&M women’s basketball playing No. 25 Ole Miss.

With Texas A&M’s strong performance against Tennessee, can the momentum lead to a surprise win over No. 25 Ole Miss?
The Rebels, first in the nation in scoring defense, allowing an average of 47.5 points, are on a five-game win streak but are blowing out teams by an average margin of 43 points. The only losses were against USC (by two points), UConn (by 13 points), and North Carolina State (by seven points).
Ole Miss head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin has similar assets to Texas A&M. A strong senior point guard in Kennedy Todd-Williams like Coulibaly and Starr Jacobs’ ferocious attack at the basket is similar to Jada Malone and Ware.
