Texas basketball vs James Madison: TV, streaming info for non-conference game

There aren’t many women’s basketball teams that have won more than the programs at Texas and James Madison.

In its history, James Madison has won 1,231 games. That ranks fourth all-time. Eight wins behind James Madison is fifth-place Texas and its 1,223 wins.

One of UT’s wins came against James Madison in the 1987 NCAA tournament. So far, that is the only matchup between the NCAA’s fourth- and fifth-winningest programs. On Sunday, however, the Longhorns and Dukes will meet for the second time in Harrisonburg, Va.

Ranked No. 3 in the USA Today Sports Coaches Poll, Texas (7-1) is a few days removed from an overtime loss at No. 10 Notre Dame. James Madison (7-2) has also been beaten by Notre Dame this season. Notre Dame beat Texas by 10 points and James Madison by 46 on Nov. 13.
