The Texas Tech football team added a second offensive lineman out of the transfer portal on Sunday night.

The Matador Club, Texas Tech’s NIL collective, announced the commitment of Will Jados out of Miami (Ohio). He joins the Red Raiders with one year of eligibility remaining.

Jados (6-foot-8, 307 pounds) has been a three-year starter for the RedHawks, primarily at left tackle. After redshirting the 2021 season, Jados has appeared in 40 games over the past three years with 38 starts, including 27 consecutive. Miami 140.1 yards per game in 2022, 158.1 in 2023 and 129.0 this season. He was second team all-MAC in 2023.

Jados joins Illinois State lineman Hunter Zambrano to sure up the offensive front for Texas Tech through the portal. He’s also the second Miami (Ohio) player to commit, joining receiver Reggie Virgil.

Texas Tech has now earned seven commitments out of the portal. The first six have all been announced as official signings by Tech.
