TREVISO, ITALY, JUNE 8, 2026 – adidas Basketball concluded the 19th edition of adidas Eurocamp at La Ghirada Città dello Sport in Treviso, Italy, spotlighting a new generation of global basketball talent and reinforcing the camp’s role as one of the sport’s premier platforms for player development, scouting and international connection.
Over three days, adidas Eurocamp 2026 brought together six teams and more than 70 athletes ages 16 to 22. The camp featured live tournament play, team practices, pick-and-roll offensive and defensive stations, player mentorship moments, a dedicated Q&A with the prospects, a courtside panel discussion, product debuts and a local fan meet-and-greet, creating a 360-degree environment designed to help young players compete, learn and be seen.
The 2026 edition also marked an evolution of the Eurocamp experience, expanding beyond the court to create deeper access between prospects and the basketball leaders shaping the future of the game. Special guests included Cleveland Cavaliers Head Coach Kenny Atkinson, Orlando Magic forward Franz Wagner, Eurocamp alumnus VJ Edgecombe of the Philadelphia 76ers and AS Monaco guard Mike James, who connected with athletes throughout the weekend and shared perspective on development, pressure, preparation and the many paths to the professional game.
This year’s product story also paid tribute to the heritage of Eurocamp itself, which connected the camp’s legacy with its “Future in Progress” vision. Athletes debuted the exclusive “Gelato” Crazy Energy + colorway, inspired by the energy, color and setting of Treviso which will be available in limited quantities via select wholesalers, alongside uniforms inspired by original Eurocamp designs, bringing archival inspiration with a fresh visual identity for the 2026 class.
“Eurocamp not only carries an amazing history within the basketball narrative, but also embodies our main mission at adidas Basketball, investing in the next generation of superstars,” said Max Staiger, GM of adidas Basketball. “Through an amazing group of rising stars, impactful conversations and guests, polarizing product, and meaningful connections we were able to once again honor the true purpose of the camp – showcasing the next generation of basketball.”
“Eurocamp was created to give international prospects a stage and to bring the basketball world closer together,” said Maurizio Gherardini, founder of Eurocamp. “Nineteen editions later, the game has changed in so many ways, but the purpose remains the same: to create a place where talent can be seen, challenged and supported.”
“Coming back to Eurocamp as an alum was a full-circle moment,” said VJ Edgecombe. “I remember what it feels like to be in their position, trying to show who you are as a player and learn as much as possible. To be able to share my experience and encourage these guys as they take the next step in their journey was really meaningful.”
On the court, the 2026 tournament featured six teams across two groups: 3SSB Select, Next Gen, Eurocamp 1, Eurocamp 2, Team World, and NBL Next Stars. The final games of the tournament featured 3SSB Select defeating Team World, followed by Next Gen defeating Eurocamp 2 and NBL Next Stars winning the championship title after a close game against Eurocamp 1.
