Auburn kicker Alex McPherson is entering his senior season in 2026, and it appears the Tigers will be in good hands once McPherson departs.
Three-star kicker Noah Ash announced his commitment to the Auburn Tigers early Monday morning after spending the weekend on the Plains for an official visit. Ash also holds offers from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and Texas, and has scheduled official visits with Arkansas and Texas for June.

Ash spent time with Auburn Undercover’s Christian Clemente before leaving his official visit, where he complimented the program’s atmosphere and the city of Auburn.
“It’s everything and more of what I expected,” Ash said via Auburn Undercover. “Auburn’s a great place, great people, great culture.”
Ash is the No. 2 kicker in the 2027 class according to 247Sports, and is a five-star kicker by Kohl’s rankings. The Ponte Vedra, Florida, native ranks No. 7 among kickers in Kohl’s rankings and was a strong performer at the 2025 Kohl’s Southern Showcase, where he went 15-for-15 in field goal charting and scored 118 in kickoffs. In addition to being a reliable field goal weapon, Ash is also viewed as a touchback machine who is regarded for having “the strongest kickoff leg in the country” by Kohl’s.
Ash is the second player Auburn hosted for an official visit last weekend to announce their commitment. Ash joins Nash Johnson, a three-star cornerback and former Alabama pledge, in doing so shortly after their visit concluded, and the duo joins Auburn’s 2027 recruiting haul, which is 11 members strong and ranks just outside the top 25 of 247Sports’ rankings at No. 27.
