No. 7, 4,945 Submissions – Luke Hughes

Luke Hughes had a solid freshman campaign with 47 points in 82 games. The fourth overall pick of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft has struggled a bit in his sophomore campaign with four points through 15 games.

The future is bright for Luke Hughes, if Quinn Hughes is any indicator of the potential Luke has.

Leo Carlsson was drafted second overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft behind Connor Bedard. Carlsson’s Young Guns accounts for 3,681 of the 5,194 PSA submissions of 2024.

Retail giant Dave & Adam’s placed a $1,000,000 bounty on Bedard’s one-of-one Gold Outburst Young Guns. Carlsson’s Young Guns can be found in the same box that offer a chance at the Bedard $1,000,000 bounty.

No. 5, 5,424 Submissions – Sidney Crosby

The first of back-to-back Pittsburgh Penguins and generational talents on today’s list is Sidney Crosby. Crosby moved up four spots from last year’s PSA top-10 most graded hockey players list.

The 37-year-old continues to produce with 21 points in 23 games this year. The only question is will Crosby finish is career with the Penguins? Things are looking pretty rough in Pittsburgh and Crosby is not getting any younger.

Mario Lemieux is the third Pittsburgh Penguin to make the Top-10 PSA Most Graded Hockey Players of 2024 list. Jaromir Jagr was No. 9 overall.

Lemieux advanced five spots from last year’s PSA top-10 most graded hockey players list. It is interesting seeing collectors favoring grading cards of established players instead of rookies.
