After an incredible college basketball season that saw the SEC dominate, with Florida winning the national championship, all eyes are on the next group of players who can make an impact on the NCAA.

Recent news in the recruiting realm highlights one of the top stars of the 2026 class.
According to Tipton Edits, blue-chip prospect Anthony Thompson has revealed his final 15 schools. Thompson will decide his college basketball future from the following programs: Auburn, BYU, Xavier, North Carolina, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Purdue, Notre Dame, Indiana, Georgetown, Kentucky, Kansas, Louisville and Texas.

Upon the release of his official schools list, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on the new post.

According to 247Sports, Thompson is ranked as a five-star prospect, listed as the No. 3 small forward and the No. 11 overall player in the class of 2026.
Thompson currently plays high school basketball at Western Reserve Academy.
While he has yet to take his official visits, Thompson has a 23.6% prediction in favor of Ohio State and a 20.7% prediction in favor of Indiana, via On3. Those two schools currently hold the highest odds to land the five-star recruit as he heads into his final season of high school basketball.
