Class of 2027 Omaha Central four-star safety Tory Pittman III was back in Lincoln for an unofficial visit on Thursday. Pittman is a top-100 prospect and the sixth overall safety in the recruiting cycle.
He has visited Nebraska five times over the past couple of years, all of which have been unofficial. This recruitment dates back to March 2023, when he made his first visit. He most recently visited the program on October 5.
The safety recorded 54 solo tackles on the season. He was also a bit of a weapon on offense, as he recorded 26 receptions for 458 yards and five touchdowns. He averaged 17.6 yards per catch in the process, per statistics from Maxpreps.com

Currently, the 2027 Nebraska football recruiting class has no commitments in it. Pittman would undoubtedly be a building block for the 2027 class, and continue the program’s strong track record of in-state recruiting.
