– Manchester United could be set to rival Manchester City for Atalanta midfielder Éderson, Florian Plettenberg reports. The 25-year-old, who is under contract until June 2027, is one of several transfer targets being looked at by the Old Trafford hierarchy. While concrete negotiations are yet to take place between the two clubs, some key United decision-makers are “fully convinced” of Éderson’s abilities. Atalanta value the Brazilian, who made his international debut for the Seleção earlier this year, between €50 million to €60 million.
– Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is AC Milan‘s “number one” target next summer, TeamTalk have reported. The 27-year-old is free to negotiate with foreign clubs from Jan. 1, as his current Everton deal expires in June 2025. While the Toffees have presented Calvert-Lewin with a contract extension, he has yet to put pen to paper, which has presented a potential opening for AC Milan. According to TeamTalk, the Serie A side want to bring him in to provide competition for the likes of Tammy Abraham and Álvaro Morata.
– Newcastle United will make a renewed attempt to sign Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford in 2025, reports the Daily Mail. While a January move remains unlikely, a winter exit for Magpies goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka — who has been linked with several Saudi Pro League clubs — could speed up their efforts to sign Trafford. The England Under-21 international has impressed in the Championship this season, registering 12 clean sheets from his 20 league games.
– Como are closing in on a deal to sign Jean Butez from Royal Antwerp, Fabrizio Romano reports. The 29-year-old goalkeeper is edging ever closer to making the move, with negotiations well underway. Frenchman Butez has been at Antwerp since 2020, playing 168 times for the Belgian club in all competitions. Before that, he enjoyed a two-year stint at Royal Excel Mouscron, having graduated from Lille‘s esteemed academy.
– Everton are leading the race to sign Rangers striker Hamza Igamane amid interest from several Premier League clubs, reports Moroccan outlet Mountakhab. Bournemouth, West Ham United and Newcastle United are also monitoring the 22-year-old, who has scored six goals in all competitions this season for Rangers. Igamane is viewed by the Toffees as a long-term Calvert-Lewin replacement should the England international leave the club next summer.
