OXFORD — Some sportsbooks have adjusted their 2026 Heisman Trophy odds after Ole Miss football quarterback Trinidad Chambliss won his eligibility hearing in his lawsuit vs the NCAA.
Chambliss has the second-best odds to win the Heisman Trophy next season on BetOnline on Feb. 17. He is +650, behind Texas quarterback Arch Manning (+550).

Chambliss’ Heisman Trophy future trades at 16% on Kalshi, which makes him the favorite ahead of Manning (15%) and Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr (13%).
Ole Miss plays at Texas on Oct. 24.
The update comes after Chambliss won an injunction against the NCAA on Feb. 12 at the Calhoun County Courthouse in Pittsboro. The ruling makes it likely Chambliss will be able to return to Ole Miss for 2026.
Other sportsbooks do not have Chambliss listed. The NCAA can appeal Judge Robert Whitwell’s decision, but it would require an abnormally quick appeal process and a decision in the NCAA’s favor to keep Chambliss off the field.

Chambliss finished No. 8 in Heisman Trophy voting in 2025. He threw for 3,937 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2025 while rushing for 527 yards and eight touchdowns.
Three of the players who finished above Chambliss in the 2025 Heisman Trophy race are returning for 2026. Those are Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin, Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith and Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton.
