The University of Connecticut might lose one star to the 2025 WNBA Draft, but the other one is sticking around for one more year. Standout guard Azzi Fudd will return to UConn for one more season, she told ESPN.
Fudd was expected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, but said she will return to school to “work on everything I need to work on.”

As a senior, Fudd averaged 13.4 points for the Huskies, good for third on the team.
Fudd’s teammate, guard Paige Bueckers, is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft in April.
