
The UConn Huskies (24-3, 15-0 Big East) return to Big East action when they travel to South Orange, New Jersey, on Wednesday for a showdown against Seton Hall at 7 p.m. The game will air live on SNY.
No. 5 UConn is coming off a massive statement win on Sunday at No. 4 South Carolina, a 87-58 romp. In the triumph, which snapped the defending national champion Gamecocks’ 71-game home winning streak, Azzi Fudd scored 28 points while Sarah Strong added 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Paige Bueckers added 12 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds for the Huskies, who had lost their last four meetings with South Carolina. UConn was up by 22 points at halftime and never looked back.
Next up is another road game, this one at Seton Hall. The Huskies, who have now won three straight since a Feb. 6 loss at Tennessee, defeated the Pirates on January 19 at Gampel Pavilion, 96-36.
