The UFC 327 fight card lineup has been given an overhaul after losing one of its scheduled title fights on a week’s notice.
UFC officials announced the planned flyweight title co-headliner of Saturday’s card at Kaseya Center (Paramount+) has been postponed to UFC 328 on May 9 after champion Joshua Van (15-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) sustained a minor injury that will delay his first defense against Japanese contender Tatsuro Taira (18-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC).

The card now proceeds with just one championship bout: Jiri Prochazka (32-5-1 MMA, 6-2 UFC) and Carlos Ulberg (12-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) will clash for the vacant light heavyweight title left behind by Alex Pereira, who will go after a title in a third division at heavyweight in June.
With the co-main event slot open, the organization opted to elevate a light heavyweight bout between undefeated rising contender Azamat Murzakanov (16-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) and former middleweight title challenger Paulo Costa (15-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC), who moves up a weight class.
Additionally, a previously scheduled preliminary card featherweight bout between Cub Swanson (30-14 MMA, 15-10 UFC) and Nate Landwehr (18-7 MMA, 5-5 UFC) has been elevated to the main card opener. It will be Swanson’s retirement fight from MMA.
