UFC 329 produced one of the top events of 2026 on Saturday, but it ended in anticlimactic fashion at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with the biggest star in the sport’s history being ushered out with an injury.

Conor McGregor (22-7 MMA, 10-5 UFC) came out on the wrong end of a 69-second TKO loss in his rematch with Max Holloway (28-9 MMA, 24-9 UFC) after injuring his knee on his opening strike of the fight. Overall, 11 of the 14 bouts on the card ended in a stoppage.

Pimblett (24-4 MMA, 8-1 UFC) has earned six of his eight UFC victories by stoppage.

Pimblett’s 52-second victory marked the second-fastest D’Arce choke submission in UFC history behind Kyle Daukaus’ 50-second win at UFC 322.

Benoit Saint Denis (17-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) has suffered three of his four career losses by stoppage.
