Bantamweights are headed to UFC on ABC 9.
Veterans Da’Mon Blackshear and Davey Grant will collide at the July 26 event at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous because the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.
Blackshear (17-7-1 MMA, 5-3-1 UFC) enters the bout on a three-fight winning streak that consists of wins over Cody Stamann, Cody Gibson and Alateng Heili.
Grant (14-7 MMA, 7-6 UFC) has won three of his most recent four outings. He most recently competed in December when he defeated Ramon Taveras by unanimous decision.
With the addition, the UFC on ABC 9 lineup includes:
