Rafael Fiziev will look to rebound against a dangerous contender at home.
Fiziev (13-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC) takes on Manuel Torres (17-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) in the UFC Fight Night 280 main event on June 27 from Baku Crystal Hall in Azerbaijan, promotion officials announced Tuesday morning.
Azerbaijan’s Fiziev competed in the UFC’s debut event in Baku last June when he defeated Ignacio Bahamondes by unanimous decision. However, in his most recent outing, the 33-year-old was finished by Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 325 in February.

Torres, 31, is riding a two-fight winning streak after back-to-back first-round Performance of the Night TKOs of Drew Dober, and most recently Grant Dawson at UFC 323. All but one of his 17 professional wins have come by finish.
