UFC Des Moines loses fight due to double injuries

The UFC has officially lost a bout from Saturday’s lineup.

Four days out from UFC on ESPN 67 in Des Moines, Iowa, the promotion announced the light heavyweight bout between Junior Tafa and Tuco Tokkos is off the card due to injuries to both fighters. The UFC said Wednesday it expects to reschedule the bout for a later date. Bert MMA first reported Tokkos’ injury.

The promotion did not specify what injuries the fighters suffered or an exact timetable for the rescheduling. With the indefinite postponement of the bout, the card at Wells Fargo Arena will continue with 12 fights.

With the change, the UFC on ESPN 67 lineup includes:
