Manoel Sousa had a debut to remember at UFC Fight Night 269 that ended with him being the first to knock out Bolaji Oki.
On paper, the lightweight bout on Saturday at Meta APEX in Las Vegas looked like it had potential for high action. The pair delivered, with Sousa (14-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Oki (10-4 MMA, 2-3 UFC) trading heavy shots and going for the finish for more than 14 minutes.

With the final minute ticking down, Sousa unloaded a massive punch that floored Oki and put him out cold at the 4:03 mark of Round 3. Check out the replay of the finish below (via X):
It was a tremendous showing from Sousa, who was signed off of Dana White’s Contender Series. The 28-year-old becomes a compelling addition to the 155-pound weight class, and said post-fight that there’s more to come.
