UFC Freedom 250: Date, Time, How to Watch Historic White House Card

For the first time in history, the UFC will host an MMA fight card event on the South Lawn of the White House. UFC Freedom 250 takes place this Sunday, June 14, 2026, celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary alongside the 80th birthday of President Donald Trump.

While the venue is historic, the broadcast details have caused some confusion among fans. Initially discussed as a potential CBS simulcast, UFC President and CEO Dana Whiteconfirmed that the event will stream exclusively on Paramount+.

The two have been relentlessly feuding back and forth, bringing up personal issues and promising to knock each other out.

Ilia Topuria

Ilia Topuria (17-0) enters as a massive favorite and the no. 2 pound-for-pound fighter for a reason. The Georgian-born Spaniard has evolved from a grappler in his early career into arguably the most dangerous boxer in the sport.

He possesses fight-ending power in both hands and phenomenal footwork, making his last three finishes of Charles Oliveira, Max Holloway, and Alexander Volkanovski look routine.

Moving up to lightweight full-time since his fight with Oliveira, Topuria’s ability to close distance and cut off the cage will be his primary weapon.

Justin Gaethje

Justin Gaethje (27-5) is the current interim champion and one of the most technical brawlers to ever walk into an Octagon. “The Highlight” still possesses devastating leg kicks and damaging punches, particularly his right uppercut, but his defensive liabilities have become more pronounced at 37.

Gaethje tends to turn fights into chaos, but against someone like Topuria, that is a risky gambit.

Gaethje’s path to victory relies on landing a Hail Mary shot in between Topuria’s hooks or chopping down the champion’s legs.

Topuria the Heavy Favorite

The expectation, however, is that Topuria will be too much for the aging Gaethje, with many, including UFC hall-of-fame fighter and former middleweight champion Michael Bisping, believing it will be the decisive factor for “El Matador.”

BETOnline odds also favor Topuria, who is currently a -550 favorite to win compared to Gaethje’s +400 odds.
