“Kill Bill” is headed to the UFC.
One of the fastest-rising stars in Latin American MMA, undefeated 21-year-old flyweight Regina Tarin has signed with the UFC. She’ll debut Saturday at UFC Fight Night 268 in her native Mexico City. Tarin (7-0 UFC, 0-0 UFC) replaces the injured Sofia Montenegro and takes on Ernesta Kareckaite at a contracted weight of 130 pounds.

Two people with knowledge of the situation confirmed the booking to MMA Junkie after an initial report Wednesday by Eurosport NL but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.
Tarin’s rise to notoriety ran through Budo Sento Championship and Combate Global before a one-off in Tough N Xtreme – so much so that WWE ran her through a tryout in January. In seven pro appearances, Tarin has six finishes, including four knockouts and two submissions.
Last November, she sent a message to Dana White asking for a UFC shot.
Lithuania’s Kareckaite looks to continue her momentum after a January 2025 win over Nicolle Caliari. The win bounced her back after a unanimous decision loss in her promotional debut vs. Dione Barbosa.
