Saturday’s UFC event in Winnipeg is one fight the lesser.
Mitch Raposo has been forced off the event due to illness, meaning his flyweight bout vs. Allan Nascimento has been scratched from UFC Fight Night 273 at Canada Life Centre. However, the matchup is now being worked on for UFC Fight Night 279 on June 20 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. The event will continue with 12 bouts.

Two people with knowledge of the change notified MMA Junkie on Thursday but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.
Raposo (10-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) said in an Instagram statement that he wanted to fight, but the UFC medical staff pulled him from the event as he’d been excessively vomiting and presented flu-like symptoms during fight week. Raposo’s coach Tyson Chartier also shared an image of Raposo having vitals taken in bed.
