If you have 125 seconds and are looking for violence, Jai Herbert vs. Mandel Nallo is for you.
At UFC Fight Night 273 on Saturday, the lightweight bout served as the featured fight on the main card at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Both fighters were knocked down in the opening minute, but it was Herbert (14-6-1 MMA, 4-5-1 UFC) who got the last laugh when he TKOed Nallo (14-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at the 2:05 mark of Round 1.

Nallo, 36, came out the aggressor, looking to prove a point in his first UFC outing. Herbert struggled to weather the storm, but eventually bit down on the mouthpiece and chucked punches back. He connected and dropped Nallo, who then found himself in survival mode. Referee Jason Herzog got close, but Nallo did enough to keep him at bay.
Nallo rose back to his feet and the two separated. The exchanges restarted, and once again Herbert found the button. Down went Nallo and Herbert pounded away with lefts until Herzog saw enough.
Herbert, 37, bounces back from a split decision loss to Chris Padilla in March 2025. Nallo has a five-fight winning streak snapped.
