NASCAR is making its way to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Pennzoil 400.
Some fans are making their way to the track for their first NASCAR event and getting the chance to see the exciting and thrilling world that is NASCAR in person.
Here is a checklist first-time NASCAR fans should follow at the Pennzoil 400 race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

There is so much happening in the Fan Zone. It’s a bit overwhelming to see it at first with just how much is going on. That said, there are plenty of vendors with booths and giveaways to pick up some gear. There will also be some driver appearances and autograph sessions throughout the day.
Hit the merchandise trailers and gift shops at Las Vegas
Who doesn’t love souvenirs? There are spots all over the place to ensure fans can pick up gear to remember their trip to their first NASCAR race. There are several gift shops around the Fan Zone and several merchandise trailers for individual drivers and teams (including hats, shirts, diecast cars and other items).
Catch the pre-race concert at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
The Wedge Brothers with Kelly Sheehan will kick off the Sunday pre-race activities with a fun classic rock performance. The band will excite NASCAR fans before the start of the Pennzoil 400 with a pre-race concert on the start-finish line prior to driver introductions.
NOTE: Fans need to have a pre-race track pass to get close to the stage

All you need to have to get in is a race ticket. The bar is located on the Club Level near Elevator 1. The view overlooks the speedway from the outdoor patio. Fans can enjoy a beverage or catch the action on LCD televisions and enjoy some excellent food.
Don’t forget sunscreen at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
It’s a common thing to forget, but bringing sunscreen is going to be a key to staying safe in the beautiful weather the NASCAR Las Vegas race usually has. Apply it early and often!
Can I bring coolers into Las Vegas Motor Speedway?
No, coolers are not allowed in Las Vegas Motor Speedway. However, fans can bring one non-alcoholic beverage in a plastic sports bottle, plastic cup or a metal tumbler. Each guest is allowed to bring one food item.
