UNC basketball to host top 25 recruit for visit

by

As the summer winds down and we get set to focus on fall, the North Carolina Tar Heels’ basketball program will host several recruits for visits over the next few months. On Sunday, they added another prospect to the visit list, which is already a long one.

Top 25 prospect Cameron Holmes added two new visits to his schedule this fall, and both are ACC programs as he announced he will be on SMU’s campus on August 29th. A few months later, he will be on UNC’s campus for a visit on November 7th.

The two visits are added to his list, which also includes Kentucky (Sept. 26), Duke (Oct. 3), USC (Oct. 11), and Arizona (Oct. 17).

The 6-foot-6, 195-pound small forward hails from Goodyear, Arizona, and plays at Millennium. He has a total of 16 offers in his recruitment, garnering interest from several top programs and for a good reason.

Holmes has elevated his game recently and is now ranked No. 24 nationally, the No. 9 small forward and No. 4 player in the state of Arizona per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
