Earlier this week, the North Carolina Tar Heels men picked up very nice win as they went on the road and beat Kentucky as part of the ACC-SEC Challenge. While there’s obviously still lots of basketball to be played, for the moment that’s a second pretty good win to put in the bank come tournament time.
Later today, UNC will look to add another potentially solid win as they welcome Georgetown to Chapel Hill.

The Hoyas come into this game with an 6-2 record under coach Ed Cooley, against whom Carolina had several notable NCAA Tournament clashes when he was Providence’s coach. Despite the decent record, Georgetown is ranked down at #88 in the KenPom ratings, although they do have a victory over Maryland on the road.
