Bill Belichick and UNC football have landed a huge recruit on the offensive side of the ball as former high four-star high school prospect, Nathan Leacock, has committed to the program following his departure from Tennessee this offseason.

Previous to his arrival in Chapel Hill, Leacock committed and de-committed from Purdue during the winter portal in January.

Out of high school, which was in Raleigh, North Carolina, Leacock was the No. 3 player from the state and No. 13-ranked receiver in the country with a 95 overall rating. As a transfer, he has dropped to a three-star with an 86 rating.

According to national recruiting analyst Brian Dohn from 247Sports:

“Highly productive player with high touchdown-to-catch ratio. Tracks the ball well and has reliable hands. Plays with field awareness and has good body control. Adjusts to inaccurate passes well. Knows how to use size to position the body against smaller defensive backs. Shows ability to win 50-50 balls with regularity. Has strength throughout the frame. Difficult to re-route off the line of scrimmage because of Size and strength. Is physical at the top of the routes. Can elevate and high point and is a red-zone threat.”
