Updated Iowa women’s basketball scholarship allocations

After an eventful Monday for the Iowa women’s basketball program in which both sophomore guard Teagan Mallegni and sophomore forward Emely Rodriguez announced their intentions to enter the NCAA’s transfer portal, here is how the Hawkeyes‘ scholarships for the next two seasons are allocated.

Mallegni and Rodriguez now bring the Hawkeyes’ outgoing player total to five, joining freshman guard Addie Deal, sophomore guard Callie Levin, and junior guard Kennise Johnson.

Below is a list of the scholarships Iowa has distributed to players (reflecting transfer portal departures), listed by position and eligibility status for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons:
