Texas A&M (17-4, 7-1 SEC) remains one of the hottest teams in the country after defeating Georgia 92-77 on the road, as the mini bye week did not disrupt the Aggies momentum, entering Stegeman Coliseum with zero fear, and jumped out to an improbable 26-6 lead after a 20-2 run early in the first half.
Led by senior forward Rashaun Agee’s 18 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists, five Aggies finished in double figures, while senior guard Marcus Hill was unstoppable in the paint with 15 points, paired with reserve guard Ali Dibba’s big day off the bench, matching Hill’s 15 points, including three three-pointers.

Winning the rebounding battle (46-39) for the second straight week, first-year head coach Bucky McMillan continues to be a man of his word, fixing the remaining issues, especially at the free-throw line, making 51 of their 54 attempts at the stripe over the past three games, all wins.
Combined with draining nearly 40 three-pointers in all three consecutive blowout wins, facing Alabama on the road, paired with Florida at home, will be extremely challenging, but this team is ready for whatever comes its way. After Florida defeated Alabama 100-77 on Sunday, the latest SEC Standings were released.
Sitting at 7-1, Texas A&M remains atop the SEC standings, while the Gators are the only other team in the conference with seven victories thus far.
