Lady Vols basketball moved up a spot in the Associated Press poll after going 1-1 in SEC play last week.
Tennessee (16-7, 8-3 SEC) was ranked No. 21 in the AP Top 25 on Feb. 16 after a 45-point win over Missouri and a 65-63 loss to No. 4 Texas. The Lady Vols were ranked No. 22 in both the AP poll and USA TODAY coaches poll last week.

Tennessee is back in action right away with a road matchup against No. 16 Ole Miss (20-6, 7-4) on Feb. 17 (7 p.m. ET, ESPNU). The game was originally scheduled for Jan. 26 before icy conditions in Oxford, Mississippi, postponed the matchup.
The Lady Vols will also face Texas A&M at home on Feb. 19 before playing No. 10 Oklahoma on the road Feb. 22.
Tennessee started the season as a consensus top-10 team, ranked No. 9 in the coaches preseason poll and No. 8 in the AP preseason poll. It fell out of the top 10 after losing the season opener to NC State and dropped to No. 12 in both polls after starting 2-1.
UT had its biggest drop in the polls after its losses to UCLA, Louisville and South Carolina. It fell six spots in the coaches poll and five spots in the AP poll after losing to the Bruins, and it fell six spots in the AP Top 25 after losing to Louisville. The Lady Vols fell five spots in the USA TODAY coaches poll after the loss to the Gamecocks.

Tennessee ended the 2024-25 season ranked No. 16 in the coaches poll and No. 15 in the AP poll after starting Kim Caldwell’s first season at the helm unranked. UT was ranked as high as No. 11 last season, though it never cracked the top 10.
The Lady Vols have been ranked in the AP Top 25 the most of any program since the poll began in 1976. UT has been ranked in 809 of the 900 polls.
